My Birthday

I turned 30 this year on August 11th. I got a lot of cool gifts including a new camera and an Ipod Shuffle. My friends and family threw a nice surprose Brithday party for me. Here are some pics! Enjoy!

Medina County Fair

We went to the Medina County Fair some weeks back and there was this band. Sabrina took a liking to the band and their music. They took a liking to Sabrina. So in the end Sabrina got a real Harmonica and was playing with the band. She is on their site too! http://www.theadjustmentsband.net/

I am so slow with this blogging thing sorry

Ok so it has been a couple of months since I blogged last. It has been a busy few months. The weather has been beautiful and we have had fun playing outside. It is a lot of fun this year because Sabrina is like a sponge soaking it all in! I feel like every 5 minutes she has learned a new thing. I love it! Well here are some pics from Mother's Day and this weekend!

Jody's mom

Well, it looks like the end is here. As some of you may know Jody's mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the same time my mom passed away from Lung Cancer. It has been a hell of a year. When she had been diagnosed she had seen Jody's uncles die while battling prostate cancer and my mom try and battle her Lung Cancer as well. Mrs. Clinger made the decision that she wanted to live the rest of her days enjoying her life with her family and friends and not treat the cancer. It was a very noble and brave decision. Without treatment they weren't sure she would last through the summer. For the next 7 months we watched as she dropped so much weight from not being able to eat without the help of a feeding tube. But she proved those doctor's wrong. It was a time of many up and downs but still she was not suffering from the horrible after effects that the treatments may have given her. And for the most part she was able to enjoy some very great memories. These last few months her health has really been declining. She got pneumonia and was hosptalized for that and she was loosing so much weight she was easily exhausted but, she still had days that were just wonderful and she had energy and I am not sure she would have if she had gone through the treatments. Anyhow, she took a turn for the worst this weekend. Her body had finally had enough. She is currently unconcious and having a difficult time breathing. It is hard to see such a strong independent woman like this. Please pray for her and the family and pray that she suffers no more. She is a wonderful loving woman and she will be missed.

So, the holidays are over and things are starting to settle down. Sabrina is getting so big and more active and a handful as well. The other night while I was at work Jody sent me some pics of Sabrina using her bike to try and climb over the baby gate. She has gotten all 4 of her molars in, which wasn't to easy on her, poor baby. Here are some pics enjoy!
